Groundhog throwing
So I'm thinking once we're done with the mooning run and head back to The YH Arms, a good possible followup place and group to visit would be Phil's freaks, who's home base is in the Bainton Arms in Tapton suburb. On their wiki page they indicate that their main goals are to drink beer and throw kittens; i suspect there will be ample interesting conversation there. Are y'all down for spending groundhog day there?

I updated the Malhalla wiki page for our trip to Wadman, including a little jab at the ULCers. Did you know you made their jerk list Brian?
This is interesting - I'm hanging out in the Tollyton mall with the ULCers, and there seems to bee some kind of radio tiff between some of the ULCers here (notably S Aline and Chris Masanori) and Black Scotty who is still in Gulsonside (and just gunned down Froggerknocker last night). Compelling drama - maybe Black Scotty will get his obnoxious ass kicked out of the ULC, and thus won't have a posse around to defend him...
I'vve made my way back down to W Grayside - things seem pretty normal here...

Dangit - i was planning on heading out to tapton today, but the zombies had to pick today to invade the YH Arms. Got my 5th zombie kill today though - woohoo! it'll be probably a few days though before i can head up as I need to restock on ammo.
So, I've been thinking about it. Perhaps it is time we all give up Zombie Role-playing and spend time on more quality things...such as wives, backrubs, giving wives backrubs and cake.
Oh, and changing diapers. Because, seriously, I think I might be lacking in the wife/diaper/cake area of my life due to my obsessive-compulsive nature of loving zombies.
Crap, I went the wrong way. I'll make it to the party tomorrow.
I got a text from Eugene... the Craske gang is hanging out at the Thorne Arms in Shearbank. It's a pretty dangerous area right now, so I might head that to fight some zombies on may way back to the Younghusband. You joinin?

sweeet... I stopped at Pole to stock up and spend the night in the Younghusband. I checked in later to see a zombie in our home. I only had 8 AP left, but I was able to kill it and dump the body. Thars some luck.
I was starting to work my way north, but came across a church that had been breached in the very NW corner of tapton. Zack smacked, infected healed, and 'cades built back, but now only 7 AP left, so getting to shearbank will take a while. I'll likely make my way toward one of the malls in Stanbury Village or Pimbank on route, as I've exhausted my ammo and only have a few FAKs and no syringes.
Oh - just noticed got an email to malhallagroup@yahoo.com - a character named Adell is interested in joining - they are in galbraith Hills which is on the way to Shearbank (they had found about the group crossing paths with you before, apparently) - I'll try to find this person if they leave a location to meet them, maybe I'll cross paths with you as well.
woops - i meant NE corner, not NW... I'm still waiting to hear some followup from this Adell guy. I did a little background, and this guy is in the rogue's gallery, but only for 1 PK against Equilibrium, who seems much more notorious, so it may have just been an unreported bounty collection. OTOH, he currently has as his group affiliation TSL, which stands for The Sith Lords, which is a PK group, although again he's not listed as a member in their wiki page. So it may be a trap, maybe not. I'm kinda curious to see this one out, but I'm not gonna scrounge the entire burb looking for him. So as indicated in game, I'll wait for the day where I'm at (the Jacquet building) for the day, and if I don't hear from him I'll just continue on.
if you get a chance... please revive me in the arms... i'm standing as a zombie inside.

Thanks... I was about to return the favor, but bad1 beat me to it. I pick the best people to bounty, eh? Most Pkers see it as a little game, and have fun with, not a reason to grief. I wish poor sports had to wear a "I think I'm a badass 13-year old" buttons.
I'm thinling it might be fun after the mall tour passes through to to figure out where the mob has their headquarters, then zombie up and beat on their barricades for a while...
sounds good to me... their HQ is in Club Cummings in Shackleville. I'm a revived zombie right now (victim of what appeared to be a random pk in the mall), so I'll be back tomorrow.

hey - just posted my first post at brainstock - got pk'ed in the mall. managed to stand up get all my skills updated before i got killed again and dumped outside. I was on as it was happening, so i got in a number of shots at the dick before he gunned me down, but ran out of ammo. I guess i'll go try to find brian quisling tomorrow...
I copied the suburb map of malton and added the mall locations. It may be useful when you are looking for the nearest resupply point... maybe. It's on my user: page on the UD wiki.
brian quisling is currently barricaded inside the Denmead Walk school if you're looking an easy kill.
Actually I just capped Gommorah - He gave me zombie VD and i couldn't have that. Actually if I had known it was Gomorrah at thetime I might have spared him, but the last attack was within a minute. Maybe I'll find him later and apologize...
Actually, I just got free... now I'm laying siege to the Thorn.
Looks like the mall has fallen. I'm heading south to Club Cummings (still a zombie).
Cool... I'm in the Thorne, but it's extrememly heavily barricaded. I'll have to wait to be killed to get out, but I'll head down there as soon as it happens.

I'm not far from you "gatos". Be a Jerk and become a zombie to juggle some cat entrails for charity. Ramboid's over in Edgecombe at the Pavy Plaza Police station only temporarily. I'd been hanging in Roftwood at the Quartly Library--neat place where survivors and zombies come to read books and hang out. I had a late fee on "Angela's ashes". There's lectures once a week about survivors and zombies and whatever. It's a no killing or shooting zone, and try not to disturb other patrons. I'm heading out for new adventures and will try to meet up with you guys. Lot's of Pking going on (Roftwood) to the point I gave up trying to keep track of who was a Pker, Pker killer, and Pker killer killer, ad nauseum. I stayed out of it.
Shotgun's doing well in Pitneybank using the NT bldgs necronet to locate zombies, run out, pick them off and run back in and reload in the mall for the next run.
I tried a quick way to get revived that worked twice. Found a nearby building and knocked down the 'cades till I could open the door and walk in. Closed doors behind me (show of good faith) and quickly asked for Mrh? or Mhr man? while gesturing at people with advanced necrotech skills. Then waited. (Sang the beach boys: Bah, bah, bah, bah, bah, Bahran.) About five minutes later I was revived and upped the cades.
If your characters are zombies maybe get a game of Blood Bowl going--it's described as: "Well Bob It's quite easy, just rip out some survivor's guts, blow it up till you get a nice ball and toss it around".

Alex and Sammie are into "My Littlest petshop" which I don't buy--they do with their allowance or b-days, christmas, etc. They have agreed to give me their duplicates so I can create "My littlest Zombie petshop." Sammie's not sure, but Alex thinks it's funny, Christine's maternal filters frown upon it. I spray paint them grey, cut off parts, add red and black to suit. I currently have a zombie turtle.
Hey Joe! So the story on Club Cummings (in Shackleville) is that is the headquarters for the malton mob, whose members had PK'ed both mercat and maghat, and were real douches about it to boot. So we're gonna beat on their barricades and spout off mob movie cliches at them.
Zombie pet shop = too cool. The kind of thing that would make my kids groan in despair...

Began attack on cummings at 6:41 am Saturday. Knocked down 'cades from EB+? to HB with the 29 AP I had, but hey, somebody inside's gotta use their AP for cading and that's less to use for raising hell.

He went inside and turned 3 of them into zombies and drug the last one into the street. Now he is tired from the days exertions and is gonna take a nap. He'll make it to Cummings tomorrow.)
I was able to crack open cummings, walked in, announced the zombie takeover, groaned, and that was it.
Whoa - that was unexpected... i got revived inside Cummings! But that's cool, now I can go in and spray offensive graffiti. Then when Quisling makes it down, he and ramboid can kill me again, and we'll assault the building together!
Yeah, I think I know who revived you. It was a nice nectech who revives everyone according to his description. He extracted me but left me alone (my new zombie description seemed to work)and let one of MM boys finish me off.
Well your "Welcom-Mr.-Maghat-to-our-wonderful-establishment." was short lived. Looks like they killed you and dumped you outside, but cades still at HB but weakened further after collapsing it about 4 or 5 times. I'm kind of hopin' they've gotten lax and don't watch their cades. Saw that happen at Giddings Mall--110 survivors, but somehow a handful of 2-5 zombies would be successful in creating an open door policy.

My first "Littlest Petshop zombie" is in progress. It's a turtle. I've removed one eye, carved a split pattern in the skull. I'll use black clay to partially fill the eye socket and combine colors to make an exposed brain. I'll use red yarn for optic nerve and white clay for eyeball--for a dangling effect. Small incisions have been made to show muscle, bone, and teeth (zed turtles have teeth). A small screw will be protruding from somewhere. The base coat has been painted on--flat grey with spot touch of matte sage.
You're gonna have to post a picture when you finish.
Yall want to coordinate our cade smashing? With all 3 of us hammering away, we should be able to break in and kill a couple of mutts everyday. Mornings? Nights? Never?

It's Sunday evening, 10:03 pm and just got back into town from Austin.

Well, I think two with 50 AP, can definitely get in and get some kills and dumps. After standing up from a headshot, I was able with the remaining 44 AP to reduce 'cades from EHB+ to VSB. In addition to kill/drag, I was hoping to also immediately ransack after we got in to impede barricading, making it easier to get in next time and cause survivor AP to be wasted, but looks like all the survivors need to be dead first, wiki says "Ransacked buildings cannot be repaired if active (standing) zombies are present. In addition, ransacked buildings cannot be barricaded until the damage is repaired. Only buildings containing no standing survivors can be ransacked. The act of ransacking a building also provides the zombie with 1 XP."

I don't care if I get killed, I'm up in 1 or 6 AP and getting nasty back in their stuff! I think with enough persistence we could take over Cummings and make it our turf. Matt do you remember how many survivors are holding up inside that time you made it in?

Our self-sufficiency is our advantage--we can stay in one place and lay siege to our hearts content: The survivor MM boys are going to be running all over the place or wait for FAKs. After they run out of ammo, they will have to leave to restock--going for ammos and FAKs is best at the mall, but the nearest one is Nichols Mall North in Stanbury Village-a minimum 20 AP roundtrip. They might resort to axes, etc. and there are a few close Police stations, but % drop in search for ammo so more AP expended. Nearest Necrotech is Raymond Building a 6AP roundtrip minimum. The nearest official revive point at Swaffield Plaza an 8 AP round trip expenditure.
Once dead outside, their zombie forms may turn on us, depending on their contact list for recognition, otherwise they may eat each other.
I think the fact that the nearest nearest supply Mall is relatively far away, that we have a good chance. What the hell, "Remember the Friggin Alamo". Zombie then throws the corpse of Santa Anna into the mobsters, staining several zoot suits with exploding entrails, limbs, coagulated blood droplets, and moldy epaulets.
Now i'm done for the night.
That went pretty good, even though I missed on my first 10 barricade swats. It looked like most of the mob has moved out - I only saw 2 of them in there. When's a good time for you get on, Joe? With only 2 of us, we didn't have enough AP to both zmazh the barricades and kill anyone. They had already put the barricades back to EHB by this morning.
I was killed overnight, but expected. 'Cades are down to QSB as of 10:28 this morning (Monday). Is after 8:00 pm OK? I'll check the blog later this afternoon. There's quite a few other zeds in the hood, hopefully non-MM friendlies and that our activities (feeding moan) will attract some help.

8 might be tricky, as I will have just gotten home from karate and be eating dinner. 9 would be better.

Hows about this - we keep the 7AM appointment for tomorrow. We can use the rest of tonight and tomorrow to settle on a good evening time. We meet again at that later time tomorrow to tell some good zombie stories, chase off any survivors standing around outside, and waste any AP that won't put us over the cap for 24 hours later. That would put us at Wednesday night for our first meeting with all 3 of us at full AP.

Well, I got revived, and managed to get inside club Cummings. Oh, I'll be dead before morning for sure. Here's some intel that might change before it's even read. As of 10:30 pm Monday, there were two upper level survivors inside Club Cummings: Heather Quinn (profile.cgi?id=679887) and runing guy, an MM member, (profile.cgi?id=470976). Club is back up to EHB, but the VS entry point is due north at Milne Library. Inside that are 9 survivors, the highest is level 3-none have free running or any other skills to be taken seriously. I'm switching over my radio to 27.08 the Mafia's network to pick up any other activity.

I just finished some job search stuff and peeked in on Cummings, at 1:00 am Tuesday morning Ferris the Flatulant appears--his group is the revivers(profile.cgi?id=650978). I've been using my fireaxe (don't have crowbar) to hack away at the cades from the inside while I'm alive. They are down to HB. No chat on the radio.
Hey guys, I'm gonna go get a crowbar and get back inside the club where I can deliver up to date intel from inside prior to attack. There are five survivors inside. I'm probably safe since no one wants to be a PKer--for now--and I've threatened no one. I figure I can do more damage to barracades from within at the beginning of our attack and you come in and start the killing. I'm looking for a nearby tall bldg to commit suicide and come join the kill as a zombie.
So.... our attack tonight is at 9:15?
No, I'm down to 9 AP right now thinking we'd start tomorrow night--but I'm game. My plan to stay inside took option B--PK'd as a predicted possibility. Jacob Kovac (pi: 571609)Level 41, PK'd me in the club, but I think it was legit kill based on my character description as a survivor--it could be argued I asked for it. He's not in the rogues gallery. But don't wait on me, I'll join in the fun--got my crowbar ready.
A possible future strategy is to hideout as survivors in one of the nearby buildings (both about 2 AP away). That way we would be inside and more importantly as "survivors" won't show up on a necronet scan for zombies. when the time arrives, we jump out the windows, jump up as zombies and commence attack. In theory one could "hide" one or more cells or large mobs of zombies near attack points without being detected.
Plus there wouldn't be an ever increasingly suspicious pile of corpses laying in the immediate vicinity.
