Remember, remember...

Howdy all - seems that the original open thread is getting pretty full of commentary, so here's a new one for November. And here's a discussion topic - now that we've been active in Malton for a while, is it time to think about either joining a group or starting our own group? or is it better to just stay independent?

Dude - right now there is a horde of over 50 zombies outside Pole mall. In the 10 seconds i was there i got chomped on for over half my HP; right now I'm in Club Haidon nursing my wounds.

I see Mercat left words of wisdom on the walls of the Younghusband Arms... :-)

Regarding groups - I've been looking over some of the existing groups - there are some that have more general goals like restoring power wherever possible, or healing and reviving, and aren't necessarily tied to a bulding or suburb. Examples include Malton red Cross and Malton power and light. I'm sure there are many others...

This was cool - i took a break from FAK hunting and looted the mall hardware store. within about 20 AP I was able to loot a generator, some wirecutters, 2 spray cans, a crowbar, a knife and a fireaxe! I think tomorrow I'm gonna go to an auto repair store and see if I can find a fuel can, then be all benevolent and junk and set someplace up with a functional generator, either the mall or a hospital.

So for the time being, I've decided to enlist with the malton red cross, since that's pretty much what maghat does anyways. I'm somebody!

Howdy all - as of 6;30 wednesday night, there are 3 zombies inside Club Haidon; I've done some healing and minimal barricade repair, but ran out of APs before I could do much else; but there's good pickin's there for anyone who wants to smack some zack.

hey all - just in case you haven't checked lately, right now (3:30 Saturday afternoon), there is a rotter in the Younghusband Arms with us right now. I have shut the door and restored some of the barricades, but don't have enough juice to do anything about the zed itself.
